All day long and much of the night, L.A.'s mayor, Antonio Villaraigosa, was on the fire lines. Yet somehow, some people just can't get his name straight. From AP:

Earlier, a fatality was discovered at the Marek fire, an area where neighborhoods abut rugged canyonlands below the mountainous Angeles National Forest. The victim was a man who appeared to be a transient living with a dog in a makeshift shelter, officials said. Mayor Anthony Villaraigosa said it would take some time to identify the victim.

And it's not the first time. If you recall, AP mistook "Antonio" for "Anthony" last month during coverage of the catastrophic Metrolink train crash.

Meanwhile, unlike yesterday, when Anthony Antonio sported this yellow fire jacket, he's wearing a black sweater today. A sure sign the fire situation has taken a turn for the better.
