LACMA shows off L.A. -- with the help of Times photogs
Picture 1973 -- "The Sting" is the top movie, "All in the Family" is the top TV show, and in the streets of L.A., (almost) anything goes. The Los Angeles County Museum of Art celebrated by sending five photographers to capture the city, then featured the results in an exhibit, LA Flash.
Thirty-five years later, the museum is at it again. This time, some shooters from The Times who contributed to our Street Scenes series are part of the exhibit, which opens (and closes) Saturday night. The show runs from 8 to 11 p.m. and you need tickets to get in.
