Three stars for Glendale's Palate

August 16, 2008 |  9:48 am

Palate_3 Good morning, readers.

It's not often that Times restaurant critic S. Irene Virbila gives a restaurant three stars. But she has. And the place is Palate Food + Wine, a small eatery hidden among all those car dealerships lining Brand in Glendale. Octavio Becerra's (original chef at Pinot Bistro in Studio City) food sounds sophisticated, straightforward and very pretty as you can see. There's a wine bar too. With a wide selection of bottles under $20.

Bon appetit!
