Dog days in O.C.

August 4, 2008 |  1:23 pm

Not everyone was happy with our just-launched L.A.'s Top Dogs, an LATimes.com database of more than half a million canines registered in Los Angeles County.  The database lists by breed, name and ZIP Code.

Karly of Orange County was so miffed at being left out of the database that she sent a photo to show her displeasure.

Well, she had her owner, Dr. George V.  Kent of Corona del Mar, send us the photo.  We wrote back to the Doberman to tell her that we were sorry she didn't make the cut simply by virtue of address.  Clearly she is a top dog in Orange County.  That seemed to calm her down.

What a beautiful dog! Well, when she's happy anyway. :)
