Are you tough enough for the Echo Park Paddle Boat Regatta?
Give your hamstrings a stretch and test your mettle at 4 p.m. today when the race (which includes three heats) will explode into action at the Echo Park Boathouse (751 Echo Park Ave.), on the east side of Echo Park Lake. And if you just want to watch, it's free.
A post-race concert at the Echo (1822 W. Sunset Blvd., Los Angeles) will feature bands the Damselles and Super Duper.
