Calabasas fire burns 60 acres * Updated

Thick smoke from the fire, which prompted the closure of some lanes of the 101 freeway near the Liberty Canyon exit. Fire crews were nearby when flames were reported shortly after noon and were able to get a quick jump on the blaze, authorities said.
