Bill Plaschke vs. the IOC

August 23, 2008 | 12:01 pm

Get ready, Bill says, the investigation into the actual age of the Chinese women gymnasts will last lots longer than the Olympics themselves. He's got an opinion about Jamaican runner Usain Bolt's celebrations too.

What is stalling the IOC in their investigation into the ages of the Chinese Women's Gymnastics Team? Are they giving the Chinese government time to fix the documents? Aren't there birth records? Are those little girls going into their junior or senior year in high school? What about DNA? Scientists can date the Shroud of Turin, why not people?

Is Bill having to rush so much because he only had a few megabytes of memory card left or because he's barely one step ahead of some Chinese cops trying to arrest him for vlogging without officially sanctioned permission? Run, Bill, run!
