Once_there_was_a_ferris_wheel

Though most of the original Ferris wheel from the Santa Monica Pier was sold on EBay and now sits in storage somewhere in Oklahoma, the round six-foot sign (it's in the center, above) has been donated by Pacific Park to the Santa Monica Historical Society. It sat on the pier for all of 12 years. Kinda makes you want to recheck the definition of the word "historical."
