Where is Johnny when you need him?

June 6, 2008 | 10:16 am

Former "Tonight Show" personality Ed McMahon appeared on the Larry King show to explain how his Beverly Hills mansion ended up in foreclosure:

"If you spend more money than you make, you know what happens," he said. "A couple of divorces thrown in, a few things like that."

The Times' Peter Hong has more details about McMahon's appearance. Here's a video clip as well.

He borrowed $4+ mill from the bank against his house, then walked away. This is not what happens, this is pure thievery. Where is that money, and I sure he has enough to pay back the bank what he borrowed. He should be in debtors prison, and deep in the cellar with the rats.

YOU KNOW ED..WHEN YOU MAKE MILLION'S AND BLOW IT LIVING BEYOND YOUR MEAN'S IS YOUR FAULT.
I THOUGHT IT WAS PITIFUL YOU CHOSE TO GO ON LARRY KING TO AIR YOUR FINANCIAL WOE'S.
