Ninety minutes and counting

June 2, 2008 | 12:01 am

Universal_fire_4 A reader sends this shot of the fire at Universal Studios, taken at 6 a.m. yesterday, just 90 minutes after the blaze was first reported. More great reader photos here. Heres our coverage of the blaze, with lots of  staff photos.

Here's what the Daily News,  and AP have to say.

Meanwhile, blogger Nikki Finke says Universal Music, which rented space in the video vault, lost  thousands of Decca, MCA and ABC recording masters in the fire, "including a wide range of music from Bing Crosby and the Andrew Sisters to Judy Garland and The Carpenters." Her full post is here.

We'll be following the story on LA Now throughout the day, of course.
