Lassie does Sacramento, Ray Bradbury mourns Acres of Books, and deputies scoot after crime -- it's last links!
Ray Bradbury visited Acres of Books for the last time Wednesday, where he signed his own books for fans who flocked around him. He lamented the loss of the Long Beach store, which has been sold to the city and will close its doors. When asked what advice he would give to the younger generation, he said that whatever path you choose, "don't do it for the money." Which means you should definitely consider a career in journalism.
