Good news for Silver Lake heron fans

We've been following the thread on Curbed LA about the disappearance of the Silver Lake herons. Local bird lover (and LAT editor) Steve Padilla sends this dispatch:

"...last night one of the Silver Lake great blue herons flew right over my house. Funny how you 'feel' them before you see them."

Next step -- a photo. Send 'em if you've got 'em.
