A pair of ducks, female above, male below, that's as far as I can get. What kind are they - does anyone (or everyone) know? A reader caught this shot at River Park in Lompoc, a study in synchronicity.

They're mallards, male and female. They stay together all year round, a happy couple. The male has the iridescent green head.
