This just in: State Supreme Court says yes to same sex marriage
The State Supreme Court had been asked whether the rights of same-sex couples are violated by California's one man-one woman marriage laws. Their answer: yes. Maura Dolan has the details.
The state high court's 4-3 ruling was unlikely to end the debate over gay matrimony in California. A group has circulated petitions for a November ballot initiative that would amend the state Constitution to block same-sex marriage, while the Legislature has twice passed bills to authorize gay marriage. Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger vetoed both.
Massachusetts is the only other state in the union to recognize same-sex marriage.

Congratulations to California! Amazingly, acclaimed as a country of equality, the majority of the United States of America fails to fulfill its egalitarian label; inequalities of gender are part of the every day American life style. It is about time to realize that America’s traditional roles in society are too antiquated; the choice for a positive evolution is entirely up to society.

For all that are upset by this ruling....Please remember there is separation of church and state in the GREAT USA. We are not governed by the bible. We are governed by man. If God wanted us governed by him on the local, don't you think it would say that in your precious bible? Yet he gives us the choice to live they way we choose to. He has faith in all of us. Why don't you look in the mirror and have the same faith....
