Fire on Mt. Baldy, officers kill two in L.A. County, SUV drives into pool in the OC, and don't mess with Drew Barrymore -- it's trouble in paradise

Oops A wind-whipped fire on Mt. Baldy has burned at least 30 acres so far.... Two officer-involved shootings in L.A. County today -- two people are dead.... Drew Barrymore, who was the victim of a hit-and-run yesterday, managed to get the license number of the car that rear-ended her.... The driver of a car that slammed into the back of a big rig parked on the 134 Freeway in Burbank has died.... A woman in Gardena has been shot and killed.... Police in Pomona search for a man they think stabbed his wife to death.... At least 100 people in San Pedro found their tires slashed this morning.... Burglars in Camarillo are arrested.... Police nab three men in Oxnard on suspicion of illegally towing vehicles.... Jewelry thieves have stolen more than $2.5 million in gold from JC Penney stores in Orange County and the rest of the state over several months.... A San Bernardino city employee was sentenced to four months in jail for embezzling $30,000 worth of amusement park tickets.... Palm Desert police install "rat" lights to catch red-light runners.... And, in the photo above, someone in smashed through a cinder block wall and landed in a swimming pool in Huntington Beach.
