Wild burros with big brown eyes - and a motorcycle dog

April 24, 2008 | 12:04 pm

Now that we've got your attention, we can tell you the video is about a family that captures these wild burros and outfits them with reflective collars. It's all so you won't hit them with your car when driving through Reche Canyon at night in San Bernardino County. (And yes, there's a dog riding on a motorcycle.)

Our very own David Kelly has the story, with details and facts and useful information. (And burros, with their big brown eyes.)

I think is wonderful what these people are doing, putting the reflective collars on the burros. Burros are wonderful animals that are often mistreated and abuse, in some countries are even in danger of extinction. We should respect our animal friends and always drive safely and cautiously, especially in those areas.

it's burroes, not burrows; anglicized form of spanish burro- donkey
