"May 1st is Taco Truck Day?" Do these people have stupid written across their foreheads, to quote a Dr. Phil-ism? Turning L A into a Third World country like TJ is exactly what legal residents, Hispanic and otherwise (Hispanic owners of East L A four-wall restaurants are among the biggest opponents) don't want. Even Gloria Molina and the Supervisors get that. (Jonathan Gold of the Weekly and other food writers notwithstanding -- he'll eat tripe and pig's feet and anything dead or alive.)
