Malibu in the 1800s? No, this month

Sometimes, after all the cars and crowds and noise, ringing phones and pinging e-mails, all we crave is a place with no one there. Here's the beach on a cloudy day in Malibu, just sea and sand, a little breeze and ever-changing light. --Veronique de Turenne

I was lucky enough to enjoy a morning like that in Malibu once. Definitely a rarity. Lovely picture.

Malibu is one the most beautiful places among the beaches located north-west of Los Angeles. PCH (Pacific Coast highway) or Route 1 is the best way to drive and enjoy the exquisite Malibu. The enchanting blue color of the Pacific makes it more alluring and enchanting. A typical cloudy day makes the Pacific change it's color whereas the California sun gives this it's natural colors. Some places in Malibu can be absolutely great for spending some time alone, far away from the city crowd, hustle and bustle. One of the finest places in the west coast.
