Joe Francis -- out of jail and not sorry. About anything

March 13, 2008 |  2:46 pm

Joe_francis_and_some_girls_gone_w_2 After almost a year in jail and just a day after pleading no contest to charges of child abuse and prostitution, Girls Gone Wild founder Joe Francis says he's "100% innocent," Andrew Blankstein reports.

"I was being held illegally without bail," he told about two dozen reporters gathered in a small meeting room in the Beverly Hilton Hotel. "I chose to take it simply to get out of jail, not because I committed any crime."

Francis, who commissioned a home page while in jail to help rehab his image, held a press conference today at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Full L.A. Times story here.

More on today's news from Fox, E!News and (you know my methods, Watson) TMZ.

And in case you missed Francis' wild interview in the L.A. Times Magazine last year ("Baby, give me a kiss...") here it is.
