In January, officers from the LAPD's Central Traffic Division shaved their heads in solidarity with Carlos Torres, a fellow officer diagnosed with leukemia in 2006 and undergoing radiation treatments. Now, they're asking for help.

On April 3, City of Hope and the CTD are sponsoring a bone marrow donor and blood drive on Torres' behalf. Torres, a 27-year veteran of the LAPD, is one of the founders of the Cops for Tots Auto Show, a Children's Hospital fundraiser. The father of two was diagnosed with leukemia in 2006.

Information about the drive on the poster at right.
