Fire causes heavy damage at Valley condo site

Fire About 200 Los Angeles firefighters extinguished a large fire that broke out this morning at a five-story condo complex under construction in Warner Center. No injuries were reported, Paloma Esquivel writes.

Several blogs, including LA Curbed, noted that a Web cam at the construction site caught images of the fire as it was happening. The images, taken every few minutes, show large flames burning at 8:50 a.m. and a stream of water being poured on the blaze a short time later.
