Britney & Co. -- pay per view
Four paparazzi who help pay the bills by tracking young actresses like Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears have dug themselves into a legal and financial hole by getting arrested, Richard Winton and Andrew Blankstein report. At least four of the photogs were booked late last night and early this morning after they blocked some West Hollywood sidewalks.
On Tuesday night, sheriff's deputies booked two photographers -- David Tonnessen, 31, and Christian Shostele, 37 -- outside B2V Salon in West Hollywood, where Spears had made a stop. The arrests came shortly before 8 p.m. after paparazzi packed the sidewalk and entranceway and had been ordered by deputies to leave enough room for passersby.
A pack of about 50 paps had been following the fallen pop princess, and ignored police orders to disperse. Two employees of TMZ, the wildly popular (and more than occasionally vulgar) gossip site were among those detained.
Wonder if snaps of paps have any value...
