Hot Property: Charlie Sheen lists Los Feliz home
Actor Charlie Sheen and his wife, Brooke, have listed their 1927 Mediterranean in Los Feliz at $3,697,000.
The gated villa has four bedrooms and 4 1/2 bathrooms in 4,179 square feet. The home had been purchased in November 2007 for $2,575,000. The listing agents are Sherri Rogers and Konstantine Valissarakos of Sotheby’s International Realty, Los Feliz.
In the Sheens' 90027 ZIP Code, 22 single-family homes sold in the first quarter at a median price of $964,000 ($515 a square foot), according to MDA DataQuick. That was a 12.2% price increase from the first quarter of 2008 but 22 homes is a pretty small sample.

Bought the house at bubble's peak for $2.5. Wants $3.7 now, a 50% profit!!! Someone tell Little Mr. Sheen that we are already back to 2003 prices and falling.

I'll go 1.4 tops (and a no doc loan).

Danny, don't you know that celebrities are entitled to gross profits? As long as there are butt-kissing wannabees running around in this town, I'm afraid it will remain L.A.-L.A. Land.

Again..... why do WE care about Celebrities homes???
How is this piece of information relevant to the whole housing debacle?

There is no "sample" involved here. 22 homes is the enumeration of single family homes sold in that zip code.

That's $884 a SF

In the article in the paper the author stated they needed more room to raise 2 little boys. I am sure that makes everybody else with 2 kids in a 1000 sq feet feel real good. Just say they are moving

This would probably be a slam the door in face if I were an agent, but I would list at 2.99 with the bottom threshold 2.87. If the neighbors homes are averaging at the 1 million mark, 3.6 seems a bit pricey. A 10% appreciation seems fair considering the trend of 20-30% lowered asking prices of late.

My boss actually is interested in this property, and is looking to contact the listing agent, does anyone have her information and contact number?

Sherri Rogers and Konstantine Valissarakos of Sotheby's International Realty, Los Feliz, have the listing.
