Me, digital?!
I am in the center of a campaign for the iPhone. It’s at the end of an odyssey for me, since I have come into the digital age drip by drip. I was one of those parents who watched as my children became computer savvy and comfortable with a new technology that has changed the way people communicate. I will have to take some lessons for a while, but the potential of the computer is almost beyond description. I’ll be working with a tutor in order to catch up with the computer-savvy crowd.
My kids tell me there is nothing to be afraid of and that I’ll get it “in no time.” I truly hope so!
As a music and film fan I’m looking forward to downloading films and discs of interest and I’m already aware of the Internet as an awesome research device. Mainly I’m looking forward to exploring the Internet where there is so much to experience. All of my friends have mentioned the huge new world that one encounters when they have their first experience in the Internet landscape. I can’t wait!

I love my iPhone Kareem!!

Hi Kareem!
This past weekend I was attending a Seminar in Acapulco, Mexico. I didn't realize, until the last day, that we were staying at the same hotel and somehow my husband and I missed you completely! Friends mentioned they ran into you in the elevator and that you were attending the Yoga seminar. If I wasn't standing around during our seminar I would have signed up for Yoga.
I believe at one point you "waved" from your balcony to my husband and I walking on the beach. He was wearing a Lakers Jersey (I know, it seems shocking to you). Curt seems to think that I "imagined" that but you would be the only one tall enough to have to "duck" back into your room.
We can't believe that we were floors away from actually shaking your hand! Well, it was honor being at the Princess at the same time. Hope to see you soon at a game. Missing you from Carlinville, IL

As a 40-something woman who also has arrived late at the technology party, let me tell you that the iPhone is great, and really pretty easy to use. . . . I managed to get mine set up even without any kids to help me out!
