Authorized Steve Jobs biography will be called 'iSteve.' iSeriously.
An authorized biography about Apple visionary Steve Jobs will be published in early 2012, it was announced Monday. The book will be called "iSteve: A Book of Jobs."
iSeriously.
Jobs, 56, is cooperating with his biographer on the project. The book, to be published by Simon & Schuster, is being written by Walter Isaacson, head of the Aspen Institute and a former executive at Time and CNN. He's previously tackled genius Albert Einstein ("Einstein: His Life and Universe"), founding father Ben Franklin ("Benjamin Franklin: An American Life") and powerful diplomat Henry Kissinger ("Kissinger: A Biography").
"This is the perfect match of subject and author, and it is certain to be a landmark book about one of the world's greatest innovators," Simon & Schuster Publisher Jonathan Karp said in a statement.
The Associated Press reports, "Isaacson has been working on the long-rumored biography since 2009 and has interviewed Jobs, members of his family, colleagues at Apple and competitors."
The book has been thought to be in the works since February 2010, when the New York Times wrote that Isaacson had been invited by Jobs to tour his childhood home.
Jobs, who has battled pancreatic cancer and is on leave from Apple, made a surprise onstage appearance in March 2011 for the announcement of the iPad 2.

I'm amaze at how cynical and dismissive people are to a man who has largely made the world we live in possible. Even if you have never purchased an Apple product, Apple has always set the bar for everyone else and pushed the envelope since pre-1980s ....the first mass produced personal computer with a graphical user interface , they created typefaces aka "fonts", they created the P.D.A. aka the "Newton" even coined the acronym "P.D.A.", were always 10 years ahead with their MAC OS, revolutionized the mp3 player (the iPod), and cellphones (the iPhone), and last but not least the iPad... AFTER every single innovation the rest of the industry understood what they had to do next. They were always following the leader who was steered by Steve Jobs. So even if you're enjoying your Windows 7 computer with all its widgets and innovations and listening to your Zune media player, or playing Angry Birds on your Android smartphone; you have Apple and Steve Jobs to thank for that.

Should be titled, "I know what's best for everyone, you idiots."

The iSteve Nano will have his biography in just 3 pages!
Still, it's an inevitable and excellent title - I actually plan to buy one!
