Late last year, dozens of Los Angeles writers converged at the Guadalajara Book Fair, which was celebrating the city as its international guest. Zócalo Public Square caught mystery writers Denise Hamilton and Gary Phillips, food guru Jonathan Gold, novelists Mark Danielewski and Luis Rodriguez and even book editor David L. Ulin on video and asked about their favorite books and films about Los Angeles.
