Vermont Knolls: Cesar Garcia, 20

Cesar Garcia, a 20-year-old Latino, was shot in the head and died Monday, Aug. 10 in the 600 block of West 81st Street in Vermont Knolls, according to Los Angeles County coroner's officials.

Garcia was riding his bike when the incident occurred, said Officer Gregory Vaek of the Los Angeles Police Department. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The suspected attacker was seen with a gun fleeing into an alley behind 81st Street.
