Exposition Park: Errol McIntyre, 46

Errol McIntyre, a 46-year-old black man, died on Thursday, Sept. 24, after he was shot at West 37th Place and Catalina Street in Exposition Park, according to Los Angeles County coroner's officials.

McIntyre was found shot in the neck in his black Infinity SUV. Police found the vehicle just before 10 p.m. in the 1200 block of West 37th Place in South Los Angeles.

Exposition Park: Roy Anthony Sutherland, 48

Location of Sutherland's stabbing. Click to learn more about the demographics of this area. Roy Anthony Sutherland, a 48-year-old black man, was stabbed several times and died Sunday, Aug. 2. Sutherland was stabbed in the 3500 block of South Western Avenue in Exposition Park.

A person walking by found Sutherland with several stab wounds and called police at 11:20 p.m. He was taken to a hospital where he died a short time later, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office.

There are no suspects and no known motive. No witnesses have come forward, according to the LAPD.

Exposition Park: Dennis Rodgers, 19

Dennis Rodgers, a 19-year-old black man, was shot in the chest and died on July 8 in the 3700 block of South Normandie Avenue in Exposition Park, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office.

Rodgers was sitting on a car outside his home when three people drove up and opened fire, KTLA Los Angeles reported. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

KTLA also reported that Rodgers' father was shot on the same day 20 years earlier.
