The updated Homicide Report features an interactive map and searchable database of the more than 2,600 homicides in L.A. County since January 2007, when Times' reporter Jill Leovy first started this blog with the goal of covering each one.

This is such a tragic story, shared by more parents than noted. This young man had a future to look forward to, a life that was waiting for him to enter into. The person that did this did not get away, because God saw what he did. One-day, he will have a son or daughter. The wheels of justice churn hard and slow.. My prayers go out to Mom, Dad and family, GOD WILL REVEAL.

Remington Dunham wasnt 19 , he was 18 turning 19 december 24, 2009. I should know i was his ex girlfriend. A fight didnt break out. A set yelled their "hood call" out the window which sounded a little odd/ funny and remington and his friend looked at one another and laughed a little. then the set starting shooting. I pray justice will be served in the event of this tragic homicide.

A set yelled there "hood call"? They came to Cerritos to do that? They're probably a group of wannabes who think they are crips or bloods. Go to Nickerson Gardens, Imperial Courts, or Jordon Downs and do a so called "hood call". Good luck making it out of there. I would have laughed too at these little punk posers. When I see these little wannabes at the Lakewood Mall, I laugh all the time. If you think you are hard by doing a "hood call", next time walk up to that individual and try it. May justice be served and the cowardly killers be brought to justice. Try your "hood call" in state prison......punk.

Cerritos is a nice safe area. It's shocking that such a horrible crime took place there. I have dinner with my sons there all the time.

Like Victoria said Remmy wasnt 19 he was 18 turning 19 and there wasnt any fight present it was a "hood call" and they shot if your going to post an article about him get all your facts straight thats upsetting to know whoever made this article had to make it seem like its something more with black people. and By the way he wasn't in any fight and didnt gang bang whoever wrote this get it together!!
