Wilmington: Jose Caceros, 41
Jose Caceros, a 41-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Sunday, Oct. 25, in the 400 block of Gulf Avenue in Wilmington, authorities said.
Caceros was climbing the steps to his girlfriend’s home at 1:15 a.m. when he was approached by someone with a gun, according to police. He was bringing food to his girlfriend.
The assailant fired at Caceros and fled, police say. Caceros was taken to a hospital, where he died.
