Lake Los Angeles: Tammy Howland, 34

Tammy Howland, a 34-year-old white woman, was found dead Monday, Aug. 24, in her home in the 41000 block of 176th Street East in Lake Los Angeles, authorities said.

Howland was found with her hands bound and head covered after someone reported her death to authorities about 12:30 p.m., according to a statement from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Authorities are searching for Howland’s husband, 44-year-old Kenneth David Howell. He was at the home at the time of the police report but was no longer there when detectives arrived, officials said.

Homicide detectives described Howell, a white man, as a person of interest in the case. He is 5 feet, 11 inches tall, 180 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes, according to police.
