Santa Clarita: Giuliana Perrotta, 47

Giuliana Perrotta, a 47-year-old Latina, was beaten to death on July 12 in her home in the 28000 block of Creston Court in Santa Clarita, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.

Her husband apparently killed her and then hanged himself in his backyard, authorities said.

A relative found the dead woman about 7:15a.m. inside a home in the 28000 block of Creston Court. The relative called authorities, who discovered the man’s body, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

The couple were going through a divorce and ‘had prior verbal altercations,’ according to the department.

The woman suffered blunt-force trauma to the head and chest. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
