San Pedro: Daniel Castro, 21

Daniel Castro, a 21-year-old Latino, was shot in the torso in the 200 block of West 2nd Street in San Pedro. He died on Friday, June 5, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office.

Castro was found in an alley with several gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital, where he died  about 12:43 a.m., said Ed Winter, a spokesman for the coroner's office.
