Gerardo Reyes, a 28-year-old Latino, was shot in his upper torso and died on July 6 in the 6300 block of Middleton Street in Huntington Park, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
Craig Harvey, a spokesman for the coroner’s office, said Reyes was shot once in the chest during a home invasion robbery. Reyes was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:23 p.m.
