Green Meadows: Willie Adams, 31

Willie Adams, a 31-year-old black man, was shot several times and died on July 25. Adams was shot in the 700 block of East 91st Street in Green Meadows, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.

Adams was fatally shot and another man was wounded during a possible home invasion, authorities said.

Two men broke into a single-family home, then shot Adams in the torso and the other man in the neck, authorities said. Both victims were taken by paramedics to hospitals.

The incident is being investigated as gang-related, police said.
