Roberto Alcazar Valencia, a 29-year-old Latino, was shot in the chest and back and died on July 6 in the 700 block of North Soto Street in Boyle Heights, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
Police found Valencia shot in his home about 7:40 a.m. after neighbors witnessed the shooting and called police, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by Fire Department paramedics, according to the LAPD.
