Jacob Jacobo, a 27-year-old white man, was shot several times in the head and pronounced dead July 9 in the 3300 block of Pico Boulevard in Arlington Heights, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
Craig Harvey, a spokesman for the coroner’s office, said the exact time of the shooting is unknown, but it is believed to have happened July 8. Jacobo’s body was discovered in the driver’s seat of his car at 5:39 a.m. by police officers who noticed broken glass in the street on a routine patrol, Harvey said.
