Javier Gonzalez, a 22-year-old Latino, was shot at Bexley Drive and Norwalk Boulevard in West Whittier. He died on Wednesday, May 27, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
The Whittier Daily News reports that deputies found Gonzalez in a hospital after they heard reports of shots fired in the area shortly after 10 p.m.
There are no suspect descriptions and no known motive for the killing, according to the Whittier Daily News.
