Unincorporated Willowbrook: Man, 49, shot in his car

Derrick Frank Morris, a 49-year-old black man, died after he was shot several times on Tuesday, March 10, 2009, in the 2000 block of Lucien Street in unincorporated Willowbrook, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.

Morris, 49, had parked his car, when a black SUV pulled up next to him and someone inside fired several rounds. Morris was hit in the upper torso and died at a hospital.
