South-Central: Woman, 54, shot in the back

Susan Smith, a 54-year-old black woman, died Saturday, April 11, 2009, after she was shot once in the back, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office. The shooting took place in the 1100 block of East 46th Street in South-Central Los Angeles.
