Pelayo died from his injuries Sunday afternoon. Police arrested Chhailee Rey, 34, of Long Beach, and Michael Camou, 31, of Wilmington in connection with Pelayo’s homicide.

The Long Beach Press Telegram reported that prosecutors charged Rey with murder. An arraignment for Camou was postponed until March 30. The newspaper reported that Camou was working as a bouncer at the Mai Tai Club on the night of the fight.
