Baldwin Hills: Man, 22, shot in driveway

Alberto Dionicio-Ramirez, a 22-year-old Latino man, was shot multiple times in the chest, left arm and left hip Monday, Nov. 24, 2008, while standing in a driveway in the 4800 block of Slauson Avenue, according to authorities.
Los Angeles Police Department homicide detectives said Ramirez was approached about 10:20 p.m. by a Latino male in his late teens or early 20s carrying a large-caliber handgun. He fired, then fled in a red vehicle, police said.
