November 6, 2008 |  7:31 pm

Johnny Donnell, 43, was killed shortly after 9 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, in the 4000 block of Muirfield Road when he was shot multiple times. An 18-year old man, Timothy Jones, also was shot and injured, police said.

The two men and another friend were standing in a garage when the assailants approached and fired multiple gunshots. Donnell suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his chest and his left leg and was pronounced dead at the scene. Jones also suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was treated at a hospital.

The assailants are described as two black men in their late teens to early 20s with light complexions.  Anyone with information is asked to contact Los Angeles Police Department homicide Dets. James Yoshida and Ty Lee at (213) 485-1383.  After-hours or on weekends, calls may be directed to (877) LAPD-24-7 or by texting CRIMES (274637) and beginning the message with "LAPD."
