Marco Antonio Vasquez, a 22-year-old Latino man, was stabbed to death outside a grocery store in the 12000 block of Carson Street at 10:25 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18.
Vasquez was stabbed after he had an argument with someone that escalated into a physical altercation, said investigators with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. He was pronounced dead at a hospital. Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff's homicide bureau at (323) 890-5500.

Stabbing are more very personal in a homicide the family might want to look into it being someone he knew that he had a beef with. Whatever the case may have been an argument should not have lead to the death of this young man. We all do not know the details if the other person had possessed the knife preventing him from leaving. The other person did not think of fate before killing this man. It's so terrible he lost his life at such a young age when it was all just beginning for him. To the person who committed this crime you weren't such a coward to have done this, why are you hiding and face up to what you have done. To the family of this man my prayers go out to you and that the capture of this person will realize some of the pain once apprehended and prosecuted to the fulledt but his altiment prosecution is that on judgement day before God.

I too lost my brother to senseless murder. He was just 20 years old. I know the sorrow too well. I also know a family whos son was arrested for murder. I've seen & feel their pain as well. I know the devastating results brought to both families of the murdered victim as well as to the families of the young suspect arrested for murder. It's a horrible ordeal all the way around. So much grief, pain & devastation brought to so many people. People, especially young people, need to think about the repercutions of their actions before it's too late.
