West Rancho Dominguez: homicide

Wayne Johnson, 33, a black man, was shot at 15744 S. Tarrant Avenue in West Rancho Dominguez, near Athens, about 9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 1.

Johnson was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Anyone with information about the incident can call detectives at the Sheriff's homicide bureau at (323) 526-5541. Callers can remain anonymous.
