George Favela, 27
George Favela, 27, a Latino man, was shot several times at 7:04 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, on Santa Anita Avenue near the 60 Freeway in South El Monte Authorities said Favela was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's homicide bureau at (323) 890-5500. Callers can remain anonymous.
