Enrique Ramirez, 17

Enrique Ramirez, a 17-year-old Latino youth, was shot in the 3200 block of Tecumseh Avenue in South Gate about midnight on Sunday, Sept. 7.

Ramirez was attending a party when he was shot multiple times in the upper torso, authorities said. He was taken St. Francis Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Authorities did not have further details about the shooting.

Anyone with information can call detectives at the Sheriff's Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500.

I THINK IT IS A SHAME TO LOSE A HOMIE LIKE THIS.. HE WAS A REALLY GOOD PERSON.. EVERY PERSON HAS ITS FLAWS.. AND HE HAD SOME BUT HE WAS A LOVIN PERSON THAT I WILL MISS.. ITS A SHAME AND A SHOCK.. I SAW HIM ON THE 24 OF AUG AND I NEVER THOUGHT THIS WOULD HAPPEN FROM SEEIN YOU EVERYDAY TO THIS.. ITS A SHAME.. MAY GOD OPEN THEM DOORS FOR YOU.. REST IN PEACE CASPER

He was a beautiful young man, he was just starting to notice that there was more to life, and wanted to move out of the city and change his life. those who disliked him wished they knew him, those who knew him loved to be around him, he was kind, respectful, and down to earth. he was taken from us at a early age, and we dont know why, only GOD! but you left beautiful memories, and we think of you everyday junior. may GOD bless your soul, and one day we will see eachother again, love your brother.............
