Avery Matthew Crenshaw, 21, a young black man, was fatally shot at 10500 S. Broadway Street, near 105th Street, in South Los Angeles Tuesday, Aug. 5. The L.A. County Coroner listed his time of death as 2:11 a.m. The homicide was reported by the coroner’s office.

Homicide detectives from LAPD’s Southeast Division are investigating the incident. Anyone with information about the shooting ca call (213) 485-4341. Callers can remain anonymous.
