Pedro Perez, 23

Pedro Perez, 23, a young Latino man, was shot multipe times while sitting inside his parked car at 2539 Sale Place in the unincorporated area of Walnut Park at about 1 p.m Sunday, June 8. Paramedics pronounced Perez dead at the scene, authorities said.

According to L.A. County Sheriff's Department, Perez was inside his parked car on his driveway when a Latino man approached and shot him. The man was seen getting into a white Lincoln. The vehicle fled east on Sale Place.  Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Sheriff's homicide bureau at (323) 890-5500
