George Veliz, 34

George Veliz, 34, a Latino man, was stabbed with a broken bottel at Saticoy Street and Morella Avenue in North Hollywood about 11:40 p.m. Saturday. Police said a man hit the victim with a bottle then stabbed him with its broken stem. Police arrested Edwin Morales, 20, of North Hollywood on suspicion of murder on Sunday, June 8. According to Officer Sara Faden from LAPD's media relations office. Initially Police identified Veliz's age as 40-years-old. The L.A. County Coroner said he was 34-years-old.
